Eat a Chiquita Makes Me Want to Eat Bananas

I criticize a lot of marketing and advertising efforts, I know. So it’s only fair that I compliment a company doing it right. Chiquita, the banana company with the famous blue sticker, has a totally fun website for you or the kids to play on. It’s called Eat a Chiquita. Here you can watch really cute, funny videos that warn you of the dangers of letting your bananas go bad, take a quiz about bananas or design a new blue sticker. What’s also cool is Chiquita has partnered with Zazzle so you can buy items with the stickers you design! So I can buy a mug, shirt or even band-aid with the sticker I designed.
Chiquita gets mega points because I can share all this on Facebook. I thought the videos were funny, so with one click I was able to share with my Facebook friends:
So I commend Chiquita for making something fun and engaging that can be shared via social media. Their Facebook Page is also fun and has games, videos and fan comments.
