Great Ideas for Branding Yourself

Small Business Trends put out a great post a few days ago called 5 Simple Ways to Get Paid to Build Your Brand. It’s worth reading. Here’s what I got out of it:

Make your logo and branding cool. That way people don’t mind advertising for you. I get shirts at blogging conferences because they’re just damn cool. So now I’m promoting cafe press, b5 media, typepad (sorry WordPress) and lijit.
Anything that goes out your door should have your logo on it. Every pen, paper bag, napkin, toilet paper…
Find ways to get your brand on an item people use every day.

Branding is important because people remember it, especially if they’ve bought from you before or used your services. Thus, that gives you credibility in their mind.
