I Might Just Blow Away

The storm, she is a’comin’. I live in Orlando, which appears to be directly in the path of Tropical Storm Fay. If you live up north, you can relate to the way things get when a big snowstorm is on its way. Everyone in Florida shuts down (even though it’s not due to hit here for several hours). Don’t even think about conducting business. Still, I’ve played catch-up quite nicely.
The only call I’ve gotten was from a radio station wanting my roofer client to advertise for the storm. The irony is: when a storm hits, they don’t need to advertise. Calls come in anyway.
Anyway, wish me well. If we lose power and (gulp) internet, I might get suicidal. Just kidding. I’m sure reading a book by candlelight will suffice. Aggg.
In Orlando also and it turned out not to be too bad. I’ve lost power in our normal afternoon thunderstorms and not with Fay.
Not sure how it was in your side of town.

Yea, it was pretty anticlimactic downtown too. I just hope it doesn’t whip around and get us again!
